I loved the private patio overlooking the beautiful garden! 🌺 It was perfect for relaxing after exploring the lively Duval street. Just wish the air conditioning hadn’t been so loud at night.

    stunning grounds
    secluded hammock
    delicious waffles
    noisy air conditioning

We had an awesome time staying in a Two-Bedroom Suite with friends! The grounds are stunning, especially the secluded hammock and gazebo for relaxation after a busy day. We loved exploring the various water sports and galleries around. The breakfast was a nice touch, with waffles that hit the spot!

One downside was the extreme noise from the air conditioning unit in our room. It was a bit distracting at night, but we managed with earplugs.

    friendly staff
    great breakfast
    central location
    limited bathrooms
    noisy ac

I had a great experience during my stay. The staff greeted us with a free beer at check-in, which made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the homemade waffles, and the coffee was the best I've had. They were accommodating, providing us with 2-for-1 drink cards and free beers later in the day. The atmosphere was relaxing, and walking around was easy. I appreciated getting to know the staff and how they checked in on us regularly.

The single bathroom for our group caused some morning delays. The air conditioning was loud and disrupted my sleep.

    gorgeous garden
    complimentary drinks

Just a decent option for a weekend excursion in Key West with real value for money. The garden was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy complimentary drinks upon arrival. If you want the best bed, avoid the one nearest the office in the two-bedroom suite.

perfectly situated for leisurely walks and local fun

I loved how everything I wanted to see was within an easy stroll, especially the beautiful butterfly conservatory just less than a 10-minute walk away and the vibrant atmosphere at Mallory Square around 1 km away, making my evenings delightful, while the friendly staff always made me feel welcomed and helped set the tone for a relaxing stay.

    convenient location
    nice breakfast
    lush grounds
    noisy remodeling
    poor communication

Duval House is right in the heart of Key West, perfect for exploring the vibrant scene! The grounds are a lush paradise, and the breakfast spread features made-to-order waffles that hit the spot. Plus, they’ve got a chill picnic area for unwinding.

I would've had nothing but good things to say if it weren't for the relentless remodeling noise from above. The staff could have handled it better too—no offers to address the ruckus!

    clean room
    comfy setup
    hidden porch
    uncomfortable bed
    noisy area

We had a two-bedroom suite that was comfy overall, but the bed nearest the office felt like sleeping on a board. I tossed and turned all night, which was a bummer. The room was clean, and the setup fit us well. Loved having a porch hidden by trees for chilling out. Pretty good for a night, but that bed definitely needs some love!

    homey atmosphere
    delicious food
    helpful staff
    noisy a/c
    thin walls

Staying at Duval House was a real treat. The welcome included a cold beer, which set a relaxed tone right away. The breakfast was a highlight. homemade waffles with fresh fruit and strong coffee started our mornings perfectly. My room opened onto a beautiful patio, giving easy access to the lovely garden and pool area. The location was fantastic—within walking distance to major attractions like Hemingway House and many great restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. However, I did notice some noise from the A/C unit in the room, which disturbed my sleep at times. Another downside was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. I could hear a lot from the neighboring units, which can be distracting. Overall, a charming place but could benefit from a refresh in sound insulation.

Absolutely loved this place! The cozy room was so private and quiet. We enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful outdoor pool and the charming garden area. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a bit more protein, but overall, we had a fantastic stay! 😊

The garden area is simply beautiful, perfect for chilling with my family after a day of exploring. Enjoyed our mornings with a great breakfast selection while sitting in the hammock. My teenagers loved it!

My kids wished there was a second bathroom. it was a bit hectic in the mornings. Having multiple bathrooms would make it easier for families.
